As OUTCAST moves forward with 25-man raiding there are several things that will apply no matter which instance we pursue.

Stat Requirements



The following are an approximate of minimum requirements in order to be ready for 25 man raids. All raid members should have a minimum of 8,000 buffed HP in order to survive many of the 25 man raid encounters. Some classes require more. These are the first goals you should be trying to reach when you gear up your character through KZ, Heroics and Crafted Gear.

750 Shadow Damage - Your damage is your regen so high damage is more important than a big mana pool.
6% Spell Hit in addition to having the Shadow Focus talent maxed (16% max Spell Hit).

Elemental Shaman:

9000 Mana (unbuffed) - Intellect translates to mana regen for Elemental Shaman. Buffing the mana pool buffs regen.
16% Spell Hit (with talents) - Shaman can get 9% spell hit through Talents in Elemental and Resto.
15-20% Spell Crit (before talents) - Offensive spell crit translate into mana conservation for Elemental Shaman with their clearcasting talent. You can have 10% extra crit to Lightning spells through talents in Elemental and Resto.
800-900 Spell Damage

Enhancement Shaman:
8000 Hit Points (unbuffed)
1300 Attack Power
9% Hit Rating (before talents) - A PvE Shaman should NEVER be using a 2-hander for PvE Melee DPS.
25% Melee Crit

Resoration Shaman:
7300 Hit Points (unbuffed)
9250 Mana (unbuffed) - Intellect becomes more +healing and +damage for Resto Shaman. So buffing our mana pool serves two purposes.
1400 Healing (unbuffed) - Full Kara gear is around 1600 +healing.
150 MP/5 - I would even prioritize this above +healing, as Healing Way allows us to fudge that stat some.
